The Ackley-Peters-Haubert Agency was first known as Carl Ackley Insurance Service, founded by Carl Ackley upon his return from military service in 1946. Prior to his military time, he worked for Auto-Owners Insurance Company. Mr. Ackley retired in 1980. Leonard Peters became associated with the agency upon his return from military service in 1955.

The staff here are always so friendly and the agents are extremely knowledgeable. We have dealt with Rick for years and he is very professional. He has a genuine concern for the well-being of our family and offers insurance options that truly fit the needs of our family. The staff and agents here do not operate in a high-pressure manner. We feel like our best interest is their genuine concern, and for that, we are grateful!

Accidents happen. When I accidentally hit my neighbor's car, I was able to contact my agent, Karri Klee McManus, to ask her if I could reassure my neighbor that his car would be covered! It was. Professionally, prompt, and she wanted to make sure that everything was being taken care of not only for me, but for my neighbor. I didn't really know how much I would appreciate local customer service until this happened. Having a local agent and agency like Ackley-Peters-Haubert who is looking out for you, is a relief when life happens!

The Ackley-Peters-Haubert agency holds my Auto Owners home owners policy. They have always been very friendly and easy to work with. Independent agents put you first! The only time I had to file a claim, they were very responsive and helpful! Give them a call! You don't have to live in Eaton Rapids to use them! I'm in Lansing. Trust me - they're good people!

These guys are the best! Especially that Rick guy. I don't remember what his last name is, but it's something very easy. His kindness and generosity are only slightly outweighed by his charm and good looks. A real family guy. Only downside is that he doesn't know anything about baseball and less about basketball!
