Biggs Insurance Service

Biggs is INCREDIBLE. Their staff are always welcoming and knowledgeable. Wonderful, full-service insurance agency in SW Washington.

We have been with Biggs Insurance for many years and in the beginning it was great. They were responsive, etc. However, my understanding is that they sold the business to someone else or at least part of management retired so it's different leadership now. They are the broker so they are suppose to match you with a good insurance provider. However, we had a first time homeowner's claim and the company that they said was equivalent to Chubb is not and it's been frustrating.

When we called with the claim, they said call the insurance company and our broker has never called back to see whatever happened and if we got the service that we needed for our claim. They are often late to get you information that you need and respond which is frustrating. I think that they can match you with insurance companies and they will respond to you so they aren't bad, just average.

I really wish that we didn't have to go through brokers, it's a really weird situation. The broker is just the middleman who doesn't have any knowledge of the products they are selling or the service that you will receive from your insurance provider so they just give you options, you pick and then hope that your insurance company comes through when/if you have a claim. Back in the day when Bill Biggs was there he seemed to really know the insurance companies.

My wife and I went to Biggs Insurance and spoke with an agent who was introduced to us as the owner/founder son. We told him we were dissatisfied with our current insurance company and wanted to take all of our insurance business to Biggs. We talked to him about an hour going over all the details of our insurance needs. He assured us he would work up a quote quickly and get back to us.

That was in August of 2021 and it is now late October 2021 and we have never received a phone call or email or any other form of communication from Biggs Insurance. I am glad in a way because I wonder how "quickly" they would handle a claim!?! Anyway I wanted to thank Biggs Insurance for NOTHING!

Biggs insurance handles my business liability/auto policy as well as multiple bonds for our company. Our business insurance is quite complicated and our agent has handled everything smoothly and professionally. They were so thorough and saved me so much money that I switched my personal auto policy over to them, they are saving me about $50 a month.

Took two weeks and multiple calls to hear back from them. I lost a week of work because of their indifference. I won't send them any more of my money.
