Bolton & Company was founded in 1931 by Dorance Bolton as a humble operation in Los Angeles. This small firm continued to develop and grow and eventually became a family business around the 1960s. That's when Dorance was joined by his sons, Jim and Bill. Working alongside their father, the two brothers would soon transition into the firm's owners in the 1970s.

I have had a really great and professional experience with Bolton over the last few years that i have been working with them. I work directly with their team members Brandon Burroughs and Kristal Williams, and they are both always so attentive to my questions and emails, no matter how difficult the situation. They are always willing to make time in their schedules to hop on a call or assist me further. I have been a Bolton Insurance customer for almost 2 decades. Their service used to be excellent. Not anymore. They are apparently branching out to other services and they don't seem to value their existing insurance customers anymore. Over the last years they changed my agent 7 times. The new agent does not know me and does not seem to care.
I had an issue with the insurance fee I paid for over one month but I could not get a response from them despite my multiple follow ups. I suggest you take your insurance business to another agency where your business is valued. I am certainly looking into it.

We have worked with Bolton & Co for 4 years and very much appreciate the working relationship. As a multistate employer, Brandon and his team have made all our processes seamless (especially open enrollment!) and the variety of legislation updates and compliance webinars area bonus! I've been working with Brandon Burroughs and his team for more than four years and can't be happier. Ever since, the renewal is a breeze. We have employees in different states, which makes our account quite complicated. You have no idea how pissed I am right now! Called us at 3:30am and woke up our new born! Seems like it's been happening to others as well, get it figured out! Edit: I have received an email back stating this company has been used in prank calling and they have reported the acts to the phone company and police. I haven't had any dealings with this company but I can say they have made a great effort in comforting my anger and responding quickly to my email to them regarding the situation.
