It was terribly sad and there was little I could do for them as I was just a kid myself. I thought it would be cute to give them little care packages with soap and hair products because that's what I loved. However, that wasn't high on their list of priorities, my gesture was irrelevant. These kids lacked the basic fundamentals needed for survival.
The truth is, I'm a forty something year old mom of 2 amazing girls who is happily married. But that's not what defines me. I'm about helping people, in fact, I'm happiest when I'm doing just that and that's why I started Choice MD. You see, 21 years ago I started living with the complications of Multiple Sclerosis, an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system that can cause anything from blindness to paralysis and in the worse case scenario even death.
