Purchased my home two years ago. Coppin Insurance failed to process the flood insurance check in a timely manor which caused a huge problem. They initially blamed the tilte company until I presented them with proof. To error is human so I let it go even though it left a bad taste in my mouth. Recently received my homeowners declaration page from Edison Insurance through Coppin Insurance.

It went up dramatically so I attempted numerous times to call with no response. Decided to visit the office on September 7th to review the opions. We elected to reduce some of the coverages since it was stated that I was over insured. The declaration was submitted on September 7th for which I received a letter on September 13th stating the summary of changes made to the policy, endorsement effective date (dated September 7th), minus the premium amount.

I received a premium refund check dated September 24th. This made no sense to me. Having learned that they don't answer the phone I went into the office again. Over an hour later found out that the policy change was submitted to go effective on September 7th as opposed to October 1st. So I paid more for the last three weeks of the previous policy with less benefits.

Common sense would have indicaded that to be a foolish move. To make things worse the changes made on September 7th for the new policy to go effective on October 1st were not submitted with my signature which was stated by Edison Insurance in a phone call I made after leaving Coppin Insurance's office. Interestingly enough I asked if there was anything else that would be needed at the end of the meeting on September 7th with a response of "no".

Multiple lies mixed with ignorance to the facts to make educated decisions is now costing me an additional $700 plus this year. In addition to the change in the previous policy for the last three weeks of it's term. The bottom line is I can no longer trust that the right thing will be done on my behalf by Coppin Insurance.

Everyone at Coppin Ferry Insurance has always been extremely helpful and responsive to my insurance needs. They make sure the I have appropriate coverage paying the lowest premium possible. Customer service is excellent. I highly recommend.

I have never reviewed an insurance company before because they are all the same. Coppin Ferry is above the cream of the crop. If you want to be treated with respect and as an individual and not a number, this is your place. The service is impeccable. I give as many stars Google will allow. They get you the correct products and they don't oversell. #reviewsbyelijah

If I could give negative stars I would. Been with Allstate for approximately 7 years! First accident, rear ended, nothing. Not a call from this agent or any agent, accept from the guy's agent who rear ended me, who was an Allstate agent and extremely helpful. My car has been in the shop for nearly two weeks, and the shop keeps calling us saying they're waiting on Allstate.

Nobody has returned a single call or email. Absolutely the most unprofessional insurance company with horrific customer service. I realize we are in extraordinary times, Covid, but to never call, return a call, or email, is incomprehensible. Allstate's motto is "you're in good hands with Allstate." Obviously I'm not.
