Did not provide health insurance options to our company until nearly 7 weeks after open enrollment began on Nov. 1st. Literally not until late December, and at that point my spouses had alreaddy closed, so couldn't fairly weigh choices. Will blame delays on healthcare companies, although everyone you know with similar insurance already has plan info. in hand. Notice, the only positive reviews here are from owner giving himself 5 stars in a response, and his wife, also 5 stars. Place is a joke, do yourself a favor and find a real broker.

After reading Ezekiel's review, I felt it necessary to respond with the facts of this specific event. Ezekiel had intended to enroll his son on his group medical insurance plan as of his employer's benefit open enrollment late last year. We collected all of the necessary paperwork to complete the enrollment, transmitted the data to the insurance company, and notified his employer of the coverage change. Subsequently, when Ezekiel called our office to let us know that his son was not covered; we promptly contacted the insurance company with the supporting documentation showing that in fact the child should have been enrolled.

The insurance company promptly fixed the problem and the child was enrolled back to the original effective date and any claims incurred during this time would be covered by the insurance company as the problem was fixed. Ezekiel was not satisfied because he thought that the child should have been given a present effective date of coverage and he should not owe the back premiums which had already been deducted from his paycheck.

We did take this concern up with the insurance company and unfortunately they would not make this concession as there are specific federal laws regulating the timing at which coverage changes can be made. in the end, the problem was corrected promptly, we just could not get the desired outcome that Ezekiel wanted as the insurance company and federal law would not allow for this change.

We did give Ezekiel the info for the Division of Insurance in case he wanted to file a complaint. We did everything that we possibly could within the limits of what the law allows and did fix the initial problem.
