At that time, only policies on farm properties were available. In 1930 the company took up residence in the Old Southern Bank Building property at 413 Court Street in Fulton which it purchased in 1957 and occupied for nearly 80 years. The mission of the company has always been to provide central Missouri citizens with competitive insurance products offered through a local company with local agents.Farmers' Mutual is owned by it's policy holders and run by a board of directors elected by the policyholders.

As with any company Farmers' Mutual Insurance of Callaway County has partners that we rely on to better serve our customers. We are reinsured by Grinnell Mutual of Iowa. Farmers' Mutual just like you is required to have insurance to help keep us stable if we as a company have major losses of property in a year.
Farmers' Mutual Insurance of Callaway County has nine (9) agents serving Callaway County and the State of Missouri. Service areas are: Fulton, New Bloomfield, Lake Mykee, Holts Summit, Wainwright and Jefferson City. Please note: Service Areas are within Callaway County; however, all agents can write within the state of Missouri.
