I have to say that I have never dealt with a company as shady, fraudulent, and scamy as Fred Loya. I work for a dealership and one of our customers has Fred Loya as their insurance company and after this incident we have decided to start a list of insurance companies that our customers cannot use and this is the one and only company on that list so far.

I ADVISE ANY CAR LOT DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CUSTOMER TO USE FRED LOYA INSURANCE.THEY ARE A HUGE SCAM. We just found out through a claim that we are going through at the moment that the customers deductible is different than the lien holder's deductible. (I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE HEARD OF ANYTHING LIKE THIS) The customers lowest deductible is 1000. Fred Loya told us the lienholder would have to be the one to call it in to get the 500 deductibles because if the customer calls its going to be their deductible. (Is this even legal because I deal with a bunch of insurance companies and this is the only one that I know of that has a different deductible for the lienholder and the customer.) Oh and don't even get me started on the customer service.

For one, I call once a week to verify insurance and have to wait up to 15 minutes just for someone to pick up, even with multiple numbers, they are all the same. Having to actually try to get ahold of someone here is a complete joke and makes you feel as if they really don't want you to get ahold of them. We had emails with extensions but did not leave a phone number.

When we found a number and called it, it was sent to voicemail which they gave you another number to but you could understand everything but a couple of number because there was noise on there side that made it to where you didn't get the number. We had finally got a call back from one of the ladies and when we asked her a question, she said she was putting us on hold to look at something and after 35 minutes of being "placed on hold" we finally hung up and tried to call back, but of course no answer. Called multiple times when the phone was answered but then we were immediately hung up on. (I do know that mistakes could happen I mean sometimes I go to answer my phone and accidently hang up, but 5 or 6 times. that is being done on purpose.

They just tell us that nothing can be done about this situation about the deductible so I guess we will take this one as a loss and a lesson learned. DO NOT LET OUR CUSTOMERS USE FRED LOYA.

Fred Loyas claim department is literally so horrible and needs to be updated asap. My mom was involved in an accident in my vehicle on 2/24/22 and we filed the claim on that day. The other driver wasn't insured, but we had full coverage and my mom is a covered driver. on 3/28/22 they mailed my claims check to the wrong address because they failed to confirm the address where they would be sending the check to.

Then they had to resend the check on 4/8/22 and i have still yet to receive it and today is 4/21/22. it is 2022 why can you guys not direct deposit a check? i just had a sick baby on feb 20th and i have a billion doctors appointments to go to with literally no form of transportation because you guys have a system that is so outdated. why does sending a check in the same state take 7-10 business days, but when i order something from china it arrives within a few days. this is actually ridiculous.

Please help yourself and save your own life, don't go there! They will cheat your money. Adjusters always say"I will call you back". They will NEVER contact you and keep ignoring your calls. These people are completely swindlers. People should put a lawsuit on this company.

Worst compny worst customer service, not accepted by reputable car repair facilities not accepted by most rental places unless a person spend 4 hours to followup for that. Stay away fron it, if some one who have this insurance hits you, than best of luck.

I was rear ended on 12/6/21 by a Fred Loya insurer, I file the claim on the same day. Today is 12/13/21 and have yet to meet with the adjuster whom have been assigned the claim. When I originally made the claim, i was TOLD to go to the nearest Fred Loya location so that they may take pics of my vehicle, I guess because I stated that was an inconvience for a situation that one of their insures has already caused.

I guess this is one of the tactics Loya Insurance uses, when one of there insures is clearly at fault in a car accident. Unfortuantely, The following day i had to seek medical attention, so I reach out to an attorney, whom said they would take my case, but I really just want this to be over with, not some drawn out battle. BE WARE WHEN SEE SOMEONE HAS FRED LOYA INSUARANCE.

Worst insurance company ever! Don't waste your money. They don't know their business and should not be in the insurance business. The customer service is terrible and they don't have enough insurance adjusters available to handle claims.

I was in a motorcycle accident that took place on June 30th 2021, the other driver had Fred Loya insurance and it was deemed that he was 100% at fault for the accident. Fast forward 3 months to today, I have always had to be the one to call and checkup on this claim. Bodily injury never reached out to me, I HAD TO CALL. Property damage never reached out, again, I had to call.

Total loss never reached out to me, can you guess? I HAD TO CALL. I am still sadly not done with my claim with seemingly no end in sight. If you have to go through this company, pray you do not get Evilia (Sarah) Gutierrez, Andrea Garcia, or Samantha St. John. If you hear any of these names, I'd lawyer up. Good luck getting in contact with them as I've never gotten ahold of them on try one, always had to leave 2-3 voice mails or call around just to get a reply. I wanted to update this review; Valeria was very helpful in getting me in contact with people who can actually help. My claim is now rolling along again.

This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. The manager at the Phoenix 7st and Indian School location should not be a manager she is the worst manager I've ever talk to. I purchased a new vehicle and had to leave the dealership with full coverage from a different company because it was late at nite. So I tried to add my new vehicle and take off 2 vehicles because they were sold and they gave me the runaround for a week so I was paying for 2 insurances because they wanted to play games.

They keep trying to charge me fees when my previous policy wasn't even a month old. I would rather pay a higher premium with another com then deal with these people. I'm telling you DO NOT get insurance with this company they are crooks period.

If i could give them less i would! i had three vehicles covered 2 full and one liability. 2015 mustang was hail damage in march of 2021 here we are august & after having to hire people put of pocket because fl neglected to do their job from appraisal to customer care, phone calls, emails, or any thing relevant to what they are paid to do was hell! issue had to be taken care of by an umpire that was also paid out of pocket! and even now that the car has been deemed a total loss 3 weeks ago we are still up s@@t creek with no end in sight! they literally have been the worst possible from all angles!

After being a loyal customer for 7 years, the customer service at this agency has severely declined. Something as simple as asking for a declarations page, or needing anything from their office is a 30 day waiting period. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. When my husband bought our last car, the agency in Clear Lake wouldn't even add the new car that evening without giving him the 3rd degree!

The dealership was closing so my husband just opted to pay the entire premium in full just so he could show the dealer the car was insured. Just too many shady situations this insurance company put us through. So glad we switched to Allstate.

I wish could give zero stars. I pray for anyone who gets in an accident with someone insured by Fred Loya. We were at at stop light completely stopped. The driver rear ended us. I have called Fred Lloya multiple times. They are slow to return calls and do not follow through. When they do they are unbelievably rude from the get go. We were asked to take our vehicle to their local office for photos. First, the person at the office was late.

She took the photos and said that was all she needed. After we left, she called to say we needed to come back to sign something and take more pictures. Seriously. We went back so she could finish her job. I did not sign anything though. She already had the police report number. I told her she could get all the information she was requesting via the police report.

She yelled at us (yes, she was yelling!). She told us she could not send the pictures to the adjuster unless I gave another report to her. I think their game is to try to get conflicting statements or minor discrepancies in an account of the accident. Beware of this. After reading all the reviews, I have a feeling we will need to get a lawyer involved to get them to pay.

They should not be allowed to do business. I will definitely be contacting my state representative, state department of insurance, and better business bureau once this disaster is completed. I will update this review as the saga continues!

I had an accident where their insured raced from the first lane to the fourth turning lane at 60 degree angle and hit front portion my car. Police came on the site of accident. The insured accepted fault as it was very obvious that she was at fault. Police gave her a citation for improper change of lanes and wrote a police report with diagrams showing how the accident happened. However, after 10 days of not being responsive to my claim.

The adjuster called and said that they are only going to pay 20% of the costs to repair my car. I will have no choice to involve an attorney at this obvious case. Apparently this is not new since the previous person said the same thing. I am not sure how they are allowed to do business and how the board of insurance even puts a blind eye to this.

At this point, I'm just tired! I previously worked for one the largest Auto Insurance carriers there is & would cringe when one our insureds would have a claim w/FL. Now, I personally have a claim w/FL & they are truly exhausting! Wesley Castillo, Adjuster w/FL is the most rudest, unprofessional, liar, aggressive (should I go on) individual that I have ever spoken to on the phone. Loya's insured hit our vehicle, police report has their insured @ fault, their insured was also cited (what more proof do you need) and they still gave us a percentage @ fault.

Per Wesley Castillo, we should of know their insured was going to be negligent and hit us. Seriously! I pray no one ever gets into a car accident, but if you do, I pray it's not w/someone insured w/Fred Loya. Good luck to everyone on the road. Stay away from Fred Loya period! Just stating my opinion!

They are the worst insurance company. Total scam dishonest to the core. My wife was hit by their insured from the rear This happened during the covid shut down 03/20/2020. Their insured admitted fault and at the accident scene didn't have all her insurance info but did give her contact info and drivers license. She also gave us the name of "Fred Insurance" and the number to the office in Los Angeles that she felt with.

The next day my wife call the number the insured provided and left a detailed message reporting the accident giving their clients information information as well as our info and what had happened and requested someone call us as we as well needed a rental. No one called nor responded even after several calls to the insured as well. Finally called another Texas number for Fred Loya Insurance and they apologized for the initial office not calling back and took the information.

The rep asked if there were any injuries and we explained that just a little sore but we did not want anything but to get our car repaired and to be reimbursed for our rental vehicle once everything was completed. They stated that they couldn't take care of the rental until the auto was repaired and then to submit the rental reimbursement. It literally took weeks to get an adjuster out to look at the car.

He was a great guy and explained that they as well had a hard time reaching the insured as she did not return their calls either. Anyway once we hit the car fixed and submitted our reimbursement they started the scam. They intentionally lowballed their daily rental they allowed and refused to cover the time fri the accident but trying to only cover from when the Texas office got involved even admitting that they were aware of the date of the accident and it was not in question.

Still refusing to pay the full amount due. We were very cooperative and understanding due to the whole covid mess but they are dishonest and very short and horrible in their dealings. They should be shut down. I let them know we were reasonable and just wanted to be made while from the accident and let them know I didn't want to but would report them to the insurance commission and get an attorney and they said do it.

I will be reporting them to the CA Insurance commissioner and getting an attorney. Avoid them at all cost. I have never seen so many bad reviews. Got a response from the business manager at Fred Loya to contact Roman Martinez and have sent him information and phone records showing that we made contact right away and again verifying the accuracy of cost and claim. We'll see how it turns out. Will update.

The WORST in the world! They resolve nothing, BBB needs to close them permanently. If I could give negative -1,000,000 stars I would. My sister was critically injured by one of your drivers who ran a red light : -her car was totaled; completely smashed by your drivers truck -you have not paid for ambulance, hospital, physical therapy, time off work, rental car, new car. -not to mention the trauma from the whole incident Why do you avoid paying? Isn't that why you insure your drivers?

I would LOVE for you to leave a phone number for us, better yet, leave me Fred's direct number. This has been going on for months and months- how dare you! This has been trying to get resolved and you absolutely AVOID! How are you going to justify this? Exemplary service? Biggest joke ever. Leave us Fred's number.

I am simply amazed by their lack of attention to the facts. We were driving into a parking lot and followed another driver into the lot who was covered by Fred Loya Insurance and she proceeded to stop midway into the parking space and threw their car in reverse and backed into the front of my best friends new car. We didn't even have a chance to put the car in reverse.

The other driver didn't even bother looking behind them and yet somehow Fred Loya decided we were at fault for getting backed into. My friend apparently (by Fred Loya's account) drove in on the wrong side of the parking lot and hit his driver as they were backing up. Are you kidding me? Even the photos show that the other driver backed into my friends car. Fred Loya is a scam artist and apparently likes to insure drivers who shouldn't be driving in the first place. Find a real insurance company.

If you're going to send someone to meet an adjuster at Fred Loya, perhaps it's a good idea to tell them it's inside a Walmart, with no signs to show for it. I reached out multiple times and nobody could tell me it was inside a Walmart until I called enough Fred Loya insurance companies and one told me where it was. It's not even on their Maps when you use the locator service.

The person helping me unfortunately was he there knew, or had no idea what was going on. She was very nice it just wasn't very professional. Most questions I asked for met with "I don't know somebody should be calling you" I hope to have better luck with them in the near future while getting my truck fixed.

Very bad really above bad customer service, every time we have to renew our policy, we will have to go like 4 times as every time they ask for something new. Today I cancelled my policy with them as the representative wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to add a new car to the policy. Just for one car she wanted $480 downpayment and $370 a month. Heck no loya

Services were slow since it one person at a time working there. It take patient, waiting is a lost virtue. Friendly girl at the time of visit and helpful. But not to guide you in your choice of options or to save money.

I currently don't have insurance, but am looking to get re-instated by Fred Loya. My problem is that each time I was insured by them, I specifically stated (after setting up automatic payments) that my premium was to be paid on the first of each month. Since I'm on a fixed income, that timeframe is perfect for me. For the time I had it, the premiums would always be withdrawn on the 25-27 of each month when no money was available. SO, for the last time, I will try again to reinstate my policy, again autopay, and again on the first ONLY!. If it doesn't work this time, I'm leaving, never to return. And, for the record, I am a 70% disabled vet needing transportation and insurance
