Gene & John are great! They've helped me save a lot of money on my insurance (home, auto, business owner, work comp and health.) These people do excellent work! I have been with them for years and they are knowledgeable, patient and kind. They always explain everything to me in layman's terms so for that person that wrote a bad review don't pay attention because my experience with them has always been top notch and I'm very picky about who I do business with.

It was a convenient transaction with the owner. They were able to customize an auto insurance and a home insurance for what we need! Both Gene and Genna were so patient and informative. I would recommend them to my friends.

It was such a great experience. It was easy and fast and these people know their stuff. I. So happy I have been with them for so long. I left the country for a couple of years and came right back to this agency! Top marks!

I've been getting my homeowners and auto insurance from Neighbor Plus Insurance for 10+ years now. I can't say enough! UPDATE: The owner's response to the review is repeating the same lie the company told me when I reported them to the BBB. I never had a "need for coverage change." I went to Neighbor's Plus with one need, I unfortunately signed my signature to the wrong coverage they gave me without me knowing it because I was not given a copy of the interview questions.

End of story. I never had a need for a coverage change so there was no need to contact them after June. They have the signature, they're covered, so they don't care about my experience. I stand by everything I say in my review. If our interview was done over the phone and recorded they would be taking responsibility. ----------- Recently I got into an accident and when I filed a claim, I was shocked to find my claim was denied because I did not have the right policy for the situation ( I worked for an online platform).

That's when I found out they signed me up for the wrong policy. After investigating with them further, it turns out they did a terrible job listening to my needs and what kind of insurance I needed. Telling them the situation, they showed me the questionnaire they used from their computer. They not only filled it out incorrectly but they didn't even ask all the questions on it. Furthermore, they never explained that there were different policies applicable for my situation.

During my interview, they asked me if I'd be working for "Uber or anything like that." When I got a chance to read this questionnaire after the accident, I saw there are actually two separate questions regarding this. One for Rideshare and one for food delivery. He never separated the two questions. I informed the agent I'd be working for UberEats, a food delivery service, in the next coming weeks and that I'd like to be covered for it.

He said he'd add it to my policy. What he actually signed me up for was a Rideshare policy that only covered driving people and not doing food deliveries. The agent clearly wasn't listening to what I told him. I should add he was also babysitting his granddaughter during my visit. I didn't think much of it at the time but clearly his focus wasn't on what I was telling him.

He also didn't ask any follow up questions regarding the platform I'd be working with (this was a huge contrast when I switched insurance, the new agent I spoke to at a different company gave me extensive questioning to the nature of my business so that I was given the correct policy.he spent an hour explaining and going through everything. At Neighbor's Plus, when I asked him how long the process would take, he said we could "get through it in 20 minutes"). Neighbors Plus claimed that I specifically asked for a Rideshare policy-- this is ridiculous because my car doesn't even qualify for that and I knew that when I signed up for insurance.

Why would I ask for a policy I can't use? I ended up paying a higher premium for something that never applied to me. Considering I didn't know much about insurance and the different policies available, they were extremely careless in making sure I got what I needed and understood everything. I'm also appalled that they lied about what I said during the interview. It's completely unethical.

I can't say enough about how great NPIS is! If you want to learn about your coverage or needs- they will take the time to walk through the details. And if you want to save time and just be able to trust a professional to get you covered properly- then NPIS is for you! I spent 12 years working in the insurance industry before heading off to mommy-hood. Neighbors Plus is where I have all my insurance because I know I can trust them to take care of me.
