The Baker family has made Colorado its home since 1937, when Harry and Mary Baker - along with 10-year-old Lloyd -- left their native Missouri to become part of the "Dust Bowl" pioneer movement. Lloyd grew up in several small Colorado communities, served briefly in both World War II and the Korean War, and after graduation from the University of Colorado, began a career in banking.

I have had insurance through Rick Baker since 1991, with a lapse of over a decade after Hartford was no longer renewing certain types of coverage. After a string of mediocrity with other underwriters and agencies, I found Hartford was once again offering what I needed. Rick got answers to everything in about half a day, and coverage the following morning.

Now to make some changes in phone service and credit card processing. I am on a tear to disassociate with "losers", and find professionalism wherever I can. Thank you to Rick Baker Insurance, and Hartford.
