Schedler Mack Insurance has its roots in Coeur d'Alene clear back to 1939. Bill Quarles began the agency just prior to being called to duty for World War II. Being a one-man shop, Bill relied on the friendship and patriotism of one of his competitors to run the agency while he was away at war. Some years later Doug Schedler joined the agency as a partner.
