I am loosing my insurance coverage through my employer and was feeling very uneasy with some of the brokers out state I have spoken with, so today I made a phone call to select health and got this wonderful knowledgeable broker Maricela Serna who opened up so many ways to help me get similar benefits of what I currently have at a very good monthly premium. She was able to answer all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable to make the decision to sign up for a plan. Thank you Maricela for all of your help!

She was extremely efficient, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. She handled my issue in a very short amount of time, and I went away wishing she worked at all the other places I now need to call to provide my new payment information to (after fraud charges cancelled my credit card). Based on this interaction, I would absolutely recommend you to a friend.

Kylie was so helpful when I explained that I was going out of town for Memorial Day weekend and I needed select health to approve an early refill to have select health pay for my medications. I explained how long I would be gone and she understood how important it was for me to get this early vacation override refill approved. She made the process so easy and was so nice and professional and funny and it was a easy process. She was able to get that early refill override for me today. She is an amazing person. Select health is lucky to have her on their team!

I have just acquired SelectHealth insurance. My first interaction with a Support Specialist was via the chat. The experience was easy and informative. There is much to come out of the information collected regarding my pharmacy benefits; hopefully I can continue to give SelectHealth 5-star reviews.

I had an auto payment not post due to an expired credit card. Following up on a letter, when I called in to customer service the agent (Ryan) was very helpful and kind in discovering the problem and getting it resolved insuring that things were again automated and easy. He addressed my additional questions with equal professionalism.

The reason for my review is to give credit to Select Health's customer service team. They are always quick to help and happy to do so. In my opinion, this is what separates them from all other insurance companies that I have connected with. Keep it up!

Natalie G has SUCH great customer service skills. She was patient, kind, and knowledgeable and communicated excellently with me. I could tell that she had genuine concern with my problem and walked me through exactly what to do to find a solution. Great policy Select Health! Select Health is NOT interested in insuring part time teachers. I work every other week with a team teacher. This allows me to be a teacher and a mom. Here is a portion of the email: "Starting October 1st, insurance carriers will not allow those working less than six hours per day to enroll. This change is being DICTATED to the district by Select Health Insurance Company."

I absolutely adore Kylie, she went above and beyond to take care of me today. I've called multiple times to select health and the pharmacy and got no where until today. We need more people like Kylie! Don't ever give up when you have a rough call because your doing more good then most people know. I used to work for Humana and I know how hard it is working for insurance. Select health is an amazing company and the people you employee are just as amazing. This company took money out of mine account without my authorization when contacted them they said to provide documentation which i did and months later still have not responsed to any emails i sent. I'm at the point to contact legal assistance to fight this wrongful deducations from my personal account. Not honest, doesnt return emails or phones calls///

Been a SelectHealth customer for years. While switching jobs, I moved from one SH plan to another. Went to pick up RX in that month. Called SH and the pharmacy to make sure that if I picked it up in that month, I would still be able to have it paid for. Was told that because it was delivered by doc before the plan ended, it would be covered. Fast forward 3.5 months, and they send me a bill for the RX that they covered and now want to be paid back on. NM that I choose to be a current customer. Nope, they decide to try and stick it to me for $50. Tried to get them to act reasonably, but they won't giving em a couple week before I committ to another insurer that doesn't nickel and dime me for stuff they said they'd previously cover. Going to run up some big ass bills on them if they keep it up.

This company could be a saleable reason for socialize medicine/healthcare. they put cost before thorough patient care. my rehab from a stroke was very problematic due to their bean counting culture. i actually rate them a negative 20.

Select Health misrepresents itself to anyone living in Nevada. You have to jump through hoops to see a Dr. who is covered if you live in St. George but because you live in Nevada you have to get prior approval from the insurance company to see the same Doctor. My husband fell off a roof. NOW because he had a Dr. recommend he see his kidney Dr. for his feet swelling which he did but the Dr. didn't send in the notes to the kidney Dr. who is not covered because we live in Nevada we are faced with paying the bill which I do not mind because this is a health issue.

We are not the only ones. We have been told this is how this insurance treats everyone who lives in Nevada. Select Health just isn't upfront and they don't tell people in Nevada they treat you like this when you sign up. It is mis representation to the fullest. I will have to change my insurance in October but I will look to sign up with someone else.

Due to covid-19 i was unable to pay my 1100.00 premium by march 30,2020 i was canceled this is not very good for business the Idaho department requested that you not cancel people fr this reason! since i have bee with them for about 2 years.

I have been with select health for several years and it was natural for me to obtain Medicare through select health advantage. Now I am much wiser. My number one complaint is that the advantage program is a "replacement type insurance". What that means is that if you have insurance through your employer, you just shot yourself in the foot. The commercial insurance, usually high deductible, becomes not only your primary provider, but your only provider.

This means if you have a medical copay or deductible of thousands of dollars, select health advantage does nothing for you to mitigate those out of pocket expenses, you are fully responsible. Select health will not participate in any medical hospital or prescription services until you drop the commercial insurance completely and select health now becomes your single primary insurance provider. And by the way, you must continue paying the $140 or more per month even though you can't use them.

Just signed my wife and I up for 2020 without checking Yelp reviews. OMG! Looks like I'll be sorry. I've already received 17 identical Evidence of Coverage books by mail, 9 for me and 8 for my wife. Probably get her other one tomorrow. I called Customer Support and was told to just keep or discard them, and that they were aware of the issue. HELP!

Insurance companies are all terrible. Select health is even worse. This company would be out of business in 1 day if it were not for the monopoly they have. And for that, they and the state that sponsors them should all be put in an oven. This company serves no purpose except to steal your money and do it's best to kill you as fast as possible, with as much irritation as they can.

I would cry tears of joy to see them all die, like they kill us. There exact answer to me as to why they would no longer cover an Rx that they had covered for years was, "you won't die without it." Select Health, we don't cover anything that won't kill you today.

Of I could give zero starts I would. This company is super crappy. Nothing is covered, you pay a monthly fee to be insured just to be insured. Anything happens to you, doctors visits or meds are all out of pocket pay. The people that work there also don't give to sh!ts about you or your issues. They just want to get paid. Before I signed up with them I asked specific questions if a procedure was covered and they said 100% yes. Well. that was a BIG FAT LIE! This is seriously the absolute crappiest service and company I've ever come in contact with. I will never ever do business with them after this year is over.

Complete TRASH of a company! I have been receiving someone else's private plan information and mail for them at my address. I informed SelectHealth that the person has not lived here for over a year now! They continue to ignore my complaints and have not responded to ANY online inquiries whatsoever. They just don't care and will continue to break HIPAA privacy laws because no one wants to take responsibility or fix the issue. Worst of the worst!

I have been a member of select health for many years. I am also diabetic. I was trying to get a continuous glucose monitor. It will help prolong my life and will also make my day to day life much easier. It will help me feel better and will help me not possibly die as easily from hypoglycemia.but it will save them money to deny my claim. Did you know that when they deny your claim they don't even have a doctor look at your charts the first time. It's just number pushers, looking at the bottom line making you check off boxes, jump through hoops. It's someone's job to deny claims sent to insurance by their own doctor. The person that knows the most about their patients care and what they think their patient needs. They deny looking at numbers. I am not a number. I am a human.

WORST EXPERIENCE! Their customer service is terrible! I didn't wait on hold, but when I got someone they said I wasn't covered for a claim that they had paid out on! I was simply inquiring about the amount they paid. I had to get the doctor's office and SelectHealth on the line to clear it up. It was an hour of wasted time! When I asked for a supervisor, I was told they couldn't transfer me, but that she would relay the message. I would rather have no insurance, than keep paying them!

SelectHealth is a Horrible, horrible, horrible insurance company! I have never written a review for insurance before but my experience with these folks has been exasperating beyond belief. I am in general a healthy adult, but these folks have done everything from deny basic medications prescribed by my doctors to having self-serving mistakes in billing that have caused literally over 12 hours of phone calls to resolve.

Even now, 8 months after a visit, I suddenly get a bill from a provider because the original amount ($51) they paid to the provider was for some unknown reason--without any notice or explanation--withdrawn. I paid these jackoffs $900/month for over a year before I finally switched to another insurance and every single time I went to an approved doctor there has been a mistake or a denial of claim, or worse.

I asked my doctor about the various health insurance companies in the Marketplace and they confirmed that it is the worst in Utah to work with, both from their experience as a provider as well as numerous complaints from patients. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

If possible I would give 0 stars. Probably the worst service I have ever had. Their employees are not well trained and they do not have enough on staff. After spending countless hours trying to get a bill resolved they ended up cancelling my services completely. Keep in mind I was trying to pay my bill. I just wanted to pay the amount I was quoted.

By them cancelling my services I was then stuck with medical bills in the thousands as they terminated my policy (after a life changing event that they had record of) for before that event. But its OK they're sorry but there's nothing they can do.

Always get a person on the customer service line who is helpful and solves my question or issue quickly, find me a provider on my plan and even makes the appointment for me. I love SelectHealth and would recommend them to anyone.

Run don't walk away from this company they are only good for those who don't have any health problems, if you have any problems other then the sniffles they are useless! If you have a need for a specialty medication they have only 1 provider and they will NOT fill your medication. Forget it. They will promise to call you back but no one under level 3 support has the ability to dial out. I can not say enough bad things about this company. they do not care!
