Trevino Insurance Group

Trevino was my insurance agent for some time. I had a roof leak emergency, and Trevino was my insurance agent. I called him, and he was unable to make it out to inspect the massive amount of damage, and I asked him what should I do. He gave me the number of a water remediation company, and said (exact words) "chad, call so and so, and have the water damage cleaned up, and rest assured you are covered" $7,700 later in a water clean up bill, Tens of thousands of dollars of product thrown in the trash, and Trevino calls and lets me know that I'm not covered after all.

This contributed to the downfall of my business. I ended up getting sued by the water remediation company, and a brand new marriage starting off with legal issues, and a $7,700 bill which I had to pay in FULL for, and Trevino didn't even give me as much as an apology. I only hired this Remediation company because of HIS recommendation. If I would have known I would have had to pay for it in full, I would have had my workers clean up and dry all the water.

I'm still ticked about this. I believe in forgiveness, but I'm still not ready. Unprofessional, liar, doesn't care about his customers, and check your policy before it's too late. This cost me $7,700, and a giant stress on my marriage Chads Auto Parts, Elkhart, IN

Jaime Trevino is the most forthright insurance agent in St. Joseph County! I have learned a lot from Jaime about insurance. When I had a business in town he was never competitive on business or personal insurance but always would quote us when I called every year. When we moved to a rural area Jaime was competitive and we switched to him from another local agent. He and his dad, RG Trevino, went to bat with abusive adjusters after storm damage to our property. I've been with Trevino Insurance for 30+ years and have always had good honest service and pricing. The entire organization has been very responsive. I understand that there is one disgruntled person making derogatory remarks about RG and his company. As they say, there is always "one bad apple" in the bunch and I think that he's trying to grandstand to get something he's not entitled to likes to complain for the sake of complaining.
