Sears, Inc. was founded in 1919 on the premise that a combination of hard work with the rendering of prompt, efficient and accurate service will make for successful relationships between the company and clients. The founder Thomas E. Sears, known to employees and clients alike as Tom, passed on his values and ideals to both of his sons Thomas E. Sears, Jr. and Richard W. Sears as they took reins of the family business.

This group is made up of agents, brokers, primary insurance companies, wholesalers, reinsurers and risk managers. Healthy meals, essentials, and one-on-one assistance from a unique daytime shelter and advocacy center in Boston dedicated to helping women in need.

The property department's focus is on the conception and placement of worldwide property insurance programs along with negotiating Facultative and Treaty Reinsurance programs. Our creative approach utilizes many U.S. and foreign markets. Excess liability, both insurance and facultative reinsurance, has been a major part of our business since its inception.
