Kip White, owner and CEO of American Insurance, opened his first insurance agency in 1990. At the time he was a captive agent with a large insurance carrier, which meant that he could only represent a single carrier company. Kip felt he could provide better service to his clients if he was able to represent several insurance companies instead.
