In 1974, Brian Papenhagen opened up the doors to Blissfield Insurance Agency. Brian retires in 2011 and his daughter, JoDee Friess, now runs the business. She began her career at BIA in 1989 as a licensed agent. JoDee is very involved in her community, holding past positions on Blissfield School Board for 8 1/2 years and her continued involvement with the Blissfield Rotary Club.
