Beversdorf Real Estate & Insurance was founded by Herbert Beversdorf in 1954. The agency was located in the Truck Line Auto building (Chevrolet Auto Dealership) on Main Street, Birnamwood. Jane Resch joined her father in 1979 as his secretary, a year later becoming a licensed insurance. Upon the death of her father in November of 1981, Jane purchased the agency from her mother and renamed it Jane Resch Birnamwood Insurance, continuing to operate out of the same office.Jane was then joined by her husband Joe Resch in 1985; shortly after, purchasing the Koeppel Agency in Wausau.
