In 1925 Galvin Insurance was founded by Joseph D. Galvin. In the 1950's Joseph D.'s sons, John B. (Jack) and Michael joined him at the agency. In the 1970's, the tradition continued when Jack's son, Joseph B. came to work at Galvin Insurance. The most recent addition to the family agency is Matthew, the son of Joseph B., who started in 2012.
