Medicare Part A

Medicare Part A is most commonly referred to as hospital insurance. Part A will cover semi-private rooms, meals, general nursing, drugs as part of your inpatient treatment in addition to hospital services and supplies. Part A covers up to 150 days total hospitalization for a lifetime and up to 100 days in a skilled nursing facility.
Medicare Part B
Report
Medicare Part B is often referred to as medical insurance. Part B covers your doctor and specialist visits, outpatient care, home health services, preventative services, as well as medical procedures when admitted to the hospital. Preventative Services, care to prevent illness like flu or pneumonia and screenings to detect an illness at an early stage when treatment is most likely to work best.
Medicare Advantage Plans

Medicare Advantage Plans are offered by private insurance groups. They allow qualifying participants to receive a wide range of benefits that Original Medicare doesn't offer. Advantage Plans may also be referred to as "MA Plans" or "Medicare Part C." The initial enrollment period for Medicare Part C is the same as those for Original Medicare.
