Moses at Abacus helped my family through a very tough time and got us what we needed financially to take care of my father. This is the second time I sold unneeded policies to Abacus. The first was two term policies on my wife that we felt we no longer needed and they were coming close to term. As they were convertible to whole life with guaranteed insurability even though me wife was seriously Ill, Abacus advised they still had value and purchased them for about 50% of face. Needless to say, recently we decided to sell a survivorship policy with both of us insured and made sure they were in the list of competitors.
It was owned by a trust which complicated matters. Not only did they work through all the issues, they were able to close the transact before year end which was important for our tax planning needs. Matt, Erica and crew were diligent and worked through the holidays on our behalf. Their expertise and tireless efforts are well worth the small difference in price you may find while shopping your asset.
