Humphrey Covill & Coleman Ins Agcy

Humphrey, Covill & Coleman Insurance Agency, Inc., as it is now known, was founded in 1926 by Ernest J. Humphrey and Raymond F. Covill, both former Liberty Mutual Insurance Company employees. In 1948 following his graduation from Yale University and a brief tour of duty as a Naval Officer and an employee of INA, Philip L. Coleman, Humphrey's nephew, joined the agency and shortly after that the partnership became "Humphrey, Covill & Coleman". After a career that spanned 39 years, Coleman as President retired from the agency in 1987.
