Andrea and David Block met at a New York Life Executive Council Meeting in Norfolk, VA in August of 1984 and married the following year. In 1992, they purchased Insurance Specialties, Inc. (ISI) -- a Pennsylvania corporation, and transformed the agency from a brokerage agency that specialized predominantly in life insurance into a specialty health agency.
