Lovins Insurance was founded in 1966 by Charles Edward Lovins (known to family and friends as Ed). The agency was originally called Tri-County Insurance, but eventually changed its name to C. Edward Lovins Insurance Agency Inc. After 30 years of success, Ed decided to slow down and pass the torch on to Mark Brokamp and Bob Moorehead, who became the new owners in 1996.
